Chimkim nanban

 For the recipe of chicken nanban there is :


- 250 chicken fillet, breast/thigh

- 1 egg

- 60 gram flour

- salt

- pepper

- oil for frying


For tangy sauce (for chicken dressing)


- 2 tbsp soy sauce

- 2 tbsp vinegar

- 2 tbsp sugar


For nanban sauce :


- 1 egg yolk, boiled

-  half onion

- 5 tbsp mayo

- 1 tbsp vinegar/lemon juice


For the method :


1. Season the chicken with salt and pepper. 

2. While we marinated the chicken, we will make sauce first, boiled egg, and chop the egg, chop the onion, mix the egg and the onion with mayo, seasoning with lemon juice/vinegar

3, And we will Prepare a deep fying station, set up 1 plate with flour, 1 bowl with the beaten egg, and a vessel for deep frying on your burner. Pour the oil to pan

4. When the oil is ready, dredge the fillets in flour, shake off excess flour, then dip in the egg, shaking off excess egg. Carefully slide the fillet into the hot oil. Deep fry in batches, if necessary, depending on the size of your skillet. 

5. Cook for about 8 minutes, turning once. When the fillets are golden brown and cooked through, transfer them to a newspaper lined sheet to absorb excess oil. Then using tongs or chopstick.

4. Dip the fillet into the tangy sauce, making sure to coat both sides.

5. If the chicken had ready, pour the tartar sauce on the top of chicken.
